February 9, 2018 Last full week at MTC
Hello family and friends,
This was my last full week in MTC. We had new practice investigators this week. The first girl seemed really familiar. It turns out that she is one of the investigators that we taught our first day at the MTC with a big group of missionaries. Our other investigator is pregnant and wants to know what church to raise her child in. Our lessons went pretty good. We had a devotional on Tuesday with a general authority whose first language is Spanish, he and his wife were a little hard to understand but they shared a great message. We are now the most experienced missionaries in our zone and are the next ones to leave the MTC. We had a training were the teachers put on a play for us about working with members. One of the Elders in it was similar to Elder Calhone in the best two years, it was funny.
The highlight of the week was being host missionaries for the new missionaries. I got to host three Sisters. They all seemed excited to b3 at the MTC and did not cry that much. One of the Sisters was going to Illinois, one visa waiting to go to Brazil, and another going to Canada. The Sister going to Canada was not assigned a companion and when I sow her at dinner the day after hosting she still did not have a companion. It was fun to help them get settled in. One of the girls we had to carry her bags up four flights of stairs because we went in the door without the elevator. So it was good exercise carrying all the bags.
Today we are going to go to the temple again after we do library and finish writing. The Provo temple is a lot bigger than the Fort Collins temple.
Love,
