Locked out, teaching and p-day

Sister Mabunga and I had an adventure the other day. We went outside our apartment and we soon realized that neither of us had brought our key. We went to the office to see if they could help us and they had just locked up. They told us we could pay $50 and get in right then or wait until the morning and not pay anything. We decided we would wait and would sleep over at the other Sisters apartment. I slept on the floor and Sister Mabunga got the couch. We then were able to get in in the morning and our back in our apartment. We taught LeAnn this week. She just had a baby and her husband's family is in our ward. We taught her about God's Plan for us, The Plan of Salvation. LeAnn said that she had been to a funeral at our church and it was very hopeful and not as sad as other funerals she has been too. She seems really open to the Gospel.  LeAnn also came to Sacrament meeting yesterday and they are planning on giving the baby a blessing. We had a good lesson with Gillian a

Service and Temple! Wonderful week!

August 12, 2018 Last Monday Sister Mabunga and I were in charge of a game for the entire Zone to play. We tried spoons which did not work very well because they wanted to do extreme spoons and hide them throughout the Church and then no one could find the spoons. We also played Reverse Charades which went great. We came up with the things to act out and everyone got really involved. We volunteered at the Food Pantry this week. I was the banana lady and was in charge of the bananas. It was fun to help with that. Someone was driving us home yesterday and I looked out the window and saw Candy, someone we had taught once and have been unable to contact since then. Her phone stopped working and we did not have her address. We pulled over and got out of the car and chased her down. We were able to get her address for the Young SA Sisters so they can teach her. I got to go to the temple for Lyla to receive her endowment. We are able to go when someone we have worked with is going fo

July 30, 2018 Hike, they do this hike at the end of every transfer. It was kind of similar to the hike in we do at home that starts at the road and you can hike up to the Reservoir except without the Reservoir at the top. July 30, 2018 We helped a Sister in the ward prepare for a Dinner Party and then stayed for the food. It is a lot of work to put on a party like that. Bishop Connors took us to Sushi, because Sister Mabunga loves Sushi. I ate it too and. It did not even taste too fishy. We went on a hike this morning with almost all the missionaries in Murrieta. They do it once every six weeks. It was fun. A couple of weeks ago Sister Mabunga told me about a bad dream she had had. In the dream a friend from the Philippines was crying and telling her about some bad things that had happened in her life. On Thursday we were having our plans fall through and were also having bike problems. We were trying to visit a person we have been trying to teach Daleen, but she
