This picture was sent before Sister Grant went home.  The Ocean near where we are at.  Zone Conference Hello, This week we had exchanges. Sister Walters left and I was in charge of our area. I drove for the first time in California. The mission has a thing in the car to tell you when you speed and if you are driving aggressively.    My card to log in it did not work so it kept telling us that there was no driver for the entire day. So I successfully drove around the windy streets of Vista and even on the Californian freeway, although I think I am slower than most the drivers. We were walking on a street and talked to a girl that mostly speaks Chinese. We were able to change the language on my phone so she could see stuff in her language which was cool. Our 2017 Toyota Corolla had a recall. We had to go to Carlsbad to fix the car. When we got there they said that the recall was recalled. Our car still needed maintenance so it was not a wasted trip

April 10, 2018 Hello Family! We have been helping a lady move throughout the past month. We helped her pack boxes and also to unpack. She is now mostly settled in her new home. We asked if she would like to learn more about Jesus Christ and she said that we can teach her. She is a very nice lady and we hope our lessons go great with her. We also did service picking oranges for a lady in the ward and lining her drawers.  We have been helping one of the Young Women who graduates this year to work on her personal progress. It is fun, but kind of weird because we are basically the same age. We have been working on memorizing the Living Christ with her for her faith project. We also started teaching her how to crochet for a value experience. I love Personal Progress. It takes a lot of work but it builds your testimony and helps you achieve big goals.  We had a training meeting this week. I was asked to play the piano! It is harder to play because I don't really have

April 2, 2018 We had a zone BBQ on Monday before Sister Grant went home. Our zone was split into two zones this transfer so it was our last time all together. The BBQ was good and we brought cinnamon rolls. It was fun to be outside at the park. We then dropped Sister Grant off at the Mission Office and said goodbye. So now it is just me and Sister Walters.  We had a great time visiting Sister OConnor a lady in our ward that has been in the hospital and now is in a care facility. She is super sweet and we sing her songs every week when we visit.  I had my first run in with some one that bashes the scriptures. He told us that he had read The Book of Mormon and that it teaches all this horrible stuff in it and it is inspired it is not of God. I told him that is not what is written in the Book of Mormon. Sister Walters did a good job of testifying and bearing her testimony. It was an interesting experience and hopefully I get better at responding to those situations.  We ha
