This week was busy and great. We are getting a lot of new investigators. One is a lady named Josie,  I think I wrote a bit about her last week. We found her through tracting. We had dinner with a family in the ward this week that Josie said she knew from high school. We told them about Josie and they were really excited because they took her to seminary and stuff when she was in high school. We took the members with us to a lesson with Josie and her husband and the Spirit was really strong. It was great to see their reunion. We invited them to work towards baptism and they accepted!  We also had a good lesson with a girl named Vanessa she has two young kids and is a cute family.  We had exchanges this week and Sister Walters went to a different area and Sister Grant and I stayed here with Sister Overson we did a lot of tracting with her. I think some of the people did not notice when we came back with a different Sister because both Sister Walters and Overson have red hair.

So I  am, now in California! It is a lot warmer then Utah and Colorado. It has been about 70 degrees.  On Wednesday   morning I said goodbye to the MTC and my district there. We took a bus to the train station in Provo we then took two different trains to get to the Salt Lake Airport. This was definitely the hardest part of traveling to California. We had to carry all of our luggage with us on the trains. I was grateful that Sister Fish convinced me to buy a luggage strap. We got through security really fast once we got to the airport. I then got to call Mom and Dad I had to try several different pay phones before it worked. Their was also a Hermana from the Dominican Republic who started learning English when she went to the MTC I tried to help her call her family, but they did not answer the phone. I was grateful that I was able to talk to my family. I also got McDonald's with her which was her first time eating at a restaurant in the United States. When then flew to the San D

Hello family and friends, This was my last full week in MTC. We had new practice investigators this week. The first girl seemed really  familiar. It turns out that she is one of the investigators  that we taught our first day at the MTC with a big group of missionaries. Our other investigator is pregnant and wants to know what church to raise her child in. Our lessons went pretty good. We had a devotional  on Tuesday  with a general authority whose first language is Spanish, he and his wife were a little hard to understand but they shared a great message. We are now the most experienced missionaries in our zone and are the next ones to leave the MTC.  We had a training were the teachers put on a play for us about working with members. One of the Elders in it was similar to Elder Calhone in the best two years, it was funny.  The highlight of the week was being host missionaries for the new missionaries. I got to host three Sisters. They all seemed excited to b3 at the MTC and did

Hello family! This week was great we started teaching our trcs or our practice  investigators.  We taught two different people. A girl named Christine progressed great with us and completed all the commitment we give her. She even prayer with us which was special. Our other trc  was a little harder for us to teach. She is from Mongolia and grew up Buddhist, because of that she does not understand how Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are and why we need them in our lives. Sister  Fish and I tried to help her and I think is she continues to be taught at the MTC she will progress.  I also lost my water bottle this week. I left it in our orientation  for teaching trcs and when we came back for it it was gone. We looked in several lost and founds but I haven't found it yet. They have a lot of different lost and founds so I bet it is in a lost and found that I don't  know were is.  Another Sister missionary joined our companionship while her companion was taking care of a hea

First letter

Hello, At the start of  the week I was busy getting ready for my mission. The parents and I got caught up on all the Once Upon A Time. In the  evening we  went to President Foster's house  so I could  be set apart as a missionary .  It was memorable because the power in our house went out while we were getting ready. It  was an adventure  having to get ready in the dark.  My  parents and I drove to Utah so they could drop me off at the MTC (the  Mormon tabernacle choir) just kidding the missionary training center although we do sing lots of hymns.  There was some snow and ice on the drive, but we made it safely. It was amazing seeing Aaron, Emily, Gabe, Kate, and Cory. It was extra fun going to the children's museum in Lehi with them. My family and I had a tearful good bye  when they dropped me off at the MTC. I miss you, but it is good to be serving the Lord and making new friends. My companion is Sister Fish she is from Texas area and is significantly taller than me at
