Hello,  We were able to do a lot of service this week. We helped a Sister clean her house, her husband needs constant care and supervision so it is hard for her to do. We also stopped by a Sister in the ward who just moved in. Her father who is not a member of the church answered the door and told us that they were painting a room in their house and that his daughter would be home tomorrow. So we came back the next day dressed in work clothes and helped them pick oranges and peel wall paper off their wall. It was cool because he does not want to listen to the lessons, but he is curious about us and asked us questions while we worked. We also helped a lady prepare to move so that later she will be able to move without complications.  We went on a mini exchange with the Hermanas. They tracked into a guy that wanted to take the lessons, but because he does not speak Spanish we get to teach him. Sister Walters and I went with Hermana Pierce to teach him. It went well we are now teach

Beautiful Art   If you look close, you can see the ocean. Snails are all over in CA This is my first week typing on a computer instead of my phone, it is a little bit easier to type on the computer. At the beginning of the week we had exchanges and Sister Walters and I were with Sister Portez. We did a lot of   service together. We helped a lady in our ward clean. She has someone moving in with them and wants more open space. She is a painter and her entire basement was full of paintings most of which she is going to throw away. We helped her take them outside next to her dumpster. They were beautiful paintings, but you cannot keep everything. We had a family home evening with Josie, James and their children at a member's house. It was great! The member family lead the lesson and explained what a Family Home Evening is. They also came to church again this week. I think that James and their son are also going to go on a Scout Camp out with the Young Men.

Hello! We went to Carlsbad this week for a zone conference. We got close enough to the ocean that I could see a boat on it. They talked about how we can use Facebook and that we need to use it for our missionary purpose. That is really all the guidance on facebook. It is a great thing to be able to use Facebook because we can communicate better with people. There was one lady that we were really struggling to contact her and now we can Facebook her and she responds.  We went to a park and handed out family history cards and pamphlets. Lots of people do not want to hear what we have to say or they say that they already know Jesus, but are willing to look into family history.  We went to a relief society activity, which was great. Josie and her daughter came to it. Josie seemed to already be friends with lots of the ladies including the Relief Society President. We made little peg people and painted them. I sent a picture of mine. I started out going for seven people for Mom, D
