June 10, 2018 Hello family, We started last week off going to a funeral in San Marcos. Lots of missionaries had helped the lady and they got special permission for the Sisters that had served there to come down for the funeral and sing. Sister Henrie had served there. We all sang I Stand all Amazed for it. The funeral was in Sister Walters area so I got to see her. It was special to be a part of something with so many other Sister Missionaries.  We have been teaching a man and his son who have the goal to come back to church. We invited him to come to church this Sunday when we taught them. James said that he knew it was coming and that he would try his best to come. His son said the sweetest prayer when we left and prayed that his daddy would be able to come to church. He came on Sunday and was even given a calling at church. We got a text telling us to meet with a man that has not come to church in a long time. We had a little trouble setting up an appointment w

June 4, 2018 Christ's Love makes all the difference!

We started off this week with exchanges. I stayed in Vista. We had a cool finding experience. Normally when you ask people if they need help they say no. We were in our car and saw a man struggling to carry his groceries. We yelled at him and asked if he needed help. At first he, Chris, said no, but then let us help him. We were able to share the Book of Mormon with him and teach him again another day. When we finished his lesson a car honked at us and then turned around to come talk to us. It turned out to be a lady that we had helped move a while ago. It was awesome because she was so excited to see us. We were going to try and visit an investigator and could not park were we normally do. We had to park farther away and walk there. As we were walking we passed the investigator and his wife sitting on the sidewalk. We were able to teach them a nice lesson and shared Alma the Younger’s conversion.  It is powerful how he changed completely when he recognized Christ's love for
