March 24, 2019 LEMONADE STAND!

MARCH 25, 2019
We taught the Plan of Salvation and we thought it went pretty good. They asked a lot of questions and seemed to want to understand it. Then at the end of the lesson they said they wanted to know who Joseph Smith is. We have shared the story of the Restoration including the First Vision before with them and we were surprised that they did not remember.

We went to a Relief Society Dinner. It was a favorite things night, so we were supposed to bring something cheap that we love. Both of us not wanting to spend any money grabbed a little nativity tile that was sitting in the apartment and a Book of Mormon. Everyone thought our gifts were pretty good. They were definitely the most focused on the Savior.

Last week we started setting up a Lemonade stand with our district by the High School. We ask the kids a gospel question and then they get a Lemonade. Lots of the kids that are members of the Church sneak up with all the other kids. So it is a guessing game on if the kids are members of the Church.

We helped a lady with a ton of stuff try to organize all of it. We basically moved a bunch of stuff for her then put it all back.

We had exchanges and we knocked doors in one of the richest parts of the mission. I also did a piano duet with Sister Quist in the Young Single Adult Ward because she asked me to. We did I know that my Redeemer Lives. We practiced it the day before and the performed it. It could have been a lot better, but also could have been worse. It felt weird going to their sacrament meeting, it is very different then the family ward we cover. We definitely have a lot more cute little kids

Lots of pretty purple flowers, I found a hibiscus on the ground and tried to put it in my hair, but it did not work very well, the Sisters tried to park so they would not have to back, but it did not work very well.
