Some of the Sisters that live near us ended up moving out of their apartment. We helped them clean and pack up a lot. A lot of stuff ends up in the missionary apartments.
We had an awesome lesson with Bill. We shared the Restoration with him and we felt the Spirit. He knows it is true, but also feels like he is too old to change because he is 87.
We had not seen Stanley all week and we were worried about him. We stopped by on Saturday and told him that he needed to come to Church so he can be baptized. He said he would come but wanted a white shirt first. We borrowed one for him and he came to Church. I think he had a great experience. We also had an area seventy show up to our meeting and he met Stanley.
We had Zone Conference this week and I sang with Sister Durfee and another Sister in it. I even sang the alto part which was a challenge for me.
We also helped a few people move. One move was in the rain and we got completely soaked, but we got them moved. We also got a phone call from some one who had moved away and now was moving back and needed help. We helped her move and it was packed really good which was helpful. Love, Sister Vernon
One of the people we helped move cut our hair, Sister Durfee rubbing Bill's feet. Me and Sister Durfee and other fun pictures.

On Sunday morning we made a goal to have two people come to Church. Bill and Stanley had both told us they were coming. Bill is pretty old and got really worn out getting ready for Church and did not make it and Stanley just did not show up. It was cool because a Mother and her daughter just randomly showed up to Church. So we achieved our goal even though it was not any of the people we were planning on came.
We started teaching a young married couple. They are very religious, but seem open to learning more. The wife is named Emily and made us cookies, so she reminds me a little of Emily Vernon.
We were tracting and were ready to be done. But we decided to knock a few more doors. We found two people that were interested.
I also got a cold for the first time on my mission, but I am feeling good now. It has been going around the mission. Love, Sister Vernon
