Hello,
We were able to do a lot of service this week. We helped a Sister clean her house, her husband needs constant care and supervision so it is hard for her to do. We also stopped by a Sister in the ward who just moved in. Her father who is not a member of the church answered the door and told us that they were painting a room in their house and that his daughter would be home tomorrow. So we came back the next day dressed in work clothes and helped them pick oranges and peel wall paper off their wall. It was cool because he does not want to listen to the lessons, but he is curious about us and asked us questions while we worked. We also helped a lady prepare to move so that later she will be able to move without complications.

We went on a mini exchange with the Hermanas. They tracked into a guy that wanted to take the lessons, but because he does not speak Spanish we get to teach him. Sister Walters and I went with Hermana Pierce to teach him. It went well we are now teaching him.

We had a Mini Missionary from the Del Mar Stake named Brynn join us for the day on Saturday, so we had a companionship with four people. Because their was four of us we split up. Sister Walters and I went to the Vista Stake Woman's conference and Sister Grant and  Brynn went tracting.

We were unable to have a lesson with Josie and James this week because they were doing things like the Woman's conference and Scout Camp, so we are not very disappointed that we could not meet with them. They went to church again and Sister Walters and I had a good conversation with Josie at the woman's conference. We asked if we could teach their children too and if we could work towards being baptized sometime in April.

I was asked to give a talk in Sacrament meeting yesterday. The other speaker did not show up so it was just me and the youth speaker. Thankfully the youth speaker filled his time. I did all the material that I had prepared for my talk and then some and ended with about ten minutes of the meeting left. They then called a man up to speak who filled the rest of the time and then some so Sacrament ended up going over. Even with all that I think that my talk went well.
I hope you all had a great week,
Love Sister Vernon
